We went to Tunisia to carry out inspections in view of a potential candidacy of these oases for the GIAHS program. The objective is to allow the conservation of these traditional systems that see the simultaneous presence of agriculture and farming (mainly goat). The oasis system is a system that develops over three floors: in the first, the lowest, vegetables are grown (rectangular plots with turnips, garlic, salad, carrots, etc.), a second with fruit trees, and a third with date palms. This activity is part of the #giahs building capacity project financed by the Italian Agency for Cooperation and Development
